    What is heart failure?

Heart failure is a condition in which the heart muscle is unable to pump enough blood to meet the body's needs. This can result in extra fluid build-up in the lungs, which can make it hard to breathe.

Every year, about one million patients are hospitalized for heart failure with nearly 1 in 3 patients needing to return to the hospital within 3 months.1,2

Early management of heart failure so you can live your life

The time after a heart failure event can be a vulnerable period. The Heart Failure Management System* (HFMS) can help your doctor make a plan designed to get you back to normal activities and prevent you from returning to the hospital.

HFMS is a patch-based system used for at-home monitoring of lung fluid levels in patients with heart failure. HFMS can tell if fluid is building up days before you feel any symptoms. Fluid build up can be an early sign that your heart failure is getting worse and can enable your doctor to act early.

A recent study has shown that using HFMS can reduce your chances of being hospitalized so you can focus on living your life.3
